Matt is a provisional psychologist who enjoys helping couples make positive, lasting changes in their relationships. He believes that therapy works best when clients feel truly heard and understood, and he aims to create a safe space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment.
Matt earned his bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Windsor and his master of education in counselling psychology from the University of Ottawa. Through his training, he developed a strong appreciation for evidence-based approaches that balance practical strategies with empathy and understanding.
He spends much of his time working with couples, using the Gottman Method to help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their connection. He also works with adults navigating phobias, OCD, and ADHD, combining a person-centered approach with CBT and Motivational Interviewing to help clients meet their therapeutic goals.
